How can it be 8:30? The only part of my list that I managed to accomplish so far tonight was getting home through the hellish traffic. I didn't get to the nails place in time, so that's not happening. I did manage to eat, but now I need to be cleaning the house, doing laundry, and packing. Feh. Donwanna.

Yeah, I did lots of things today, but none of the things on my list, so I still feel unaccomplished. However, I do not care, and I am going to have a nice bath to finish off my evening, and tomorrow I will make a holiday weekend to-do list.

Sorry for the late addition to the Daisy Duke discussion but it reminded me of a story about my sister that I just have to tell.

So one day Mom catches Mary Kate on her way out the door in cut-off short shorts actually shorter than Daisy's. They were cut at an angle from the outside corner of the back pockets down the the crotch so there was substantial butt showing. This is, oh about 1977 so she's about 15. Of course Mom says, "You are not leaving the house dressed like that!"

MK says, "but Mo-o-om! I followed the pattern in the magazine exactly!"

"What magazine?!!!"

"Penthouse."

BWAH!! That's fantastic!

I seem to have stolen much of the motivation. I just finished 4 cover letters/resumes for jobs. I swear, just by the law of percentages I should get a job. My interview yesterday was for a drama position (yay!), and I found out that the district needs 4 drama teachers. Even bigger yay!

Knowing your sister, Laga, that suprises me not at all. Funny as hell, though!

So I have resorted to huddling in the semi-dark and trying to clean in short spurts to avoid the awful sinus headache throbbing away in my head.

Kristin that sucks. I wish I could take away your headache.

ETA: I think you barely know MK. Meg is the one married to the sociopath. Mary-Kate used to be the craxy sister but now she seems pretty nifty. She's the SCA geek / Montessori teacher dating the guy with the wheelchair.

Oh, I knew you weren't talking about Meg. I've only met MK once, but I "know" her through the many stories you have told about her, and that one fits right in!

ION, I have a sinking suspicion that I may be up all night. Feh. I will cheer myself by sharing the first picture of myself I've liked in a very long time.

Oh yeah. I did tell you MK was the one whose idea it was to write F--- YOU for the monorail riders at Disneyworld to read.
