I like gauchos.
I do not like wedges. I also do not like flip flops due to the toe assault. Hurty like whoa.
I do like the puffy sleeve shirts, but not on me. I have big upper arms and wide shoulders. The last thing I need is More there.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Damn double posting.
ION, I had an interview yesterday that I think went well. I liked the principal and assistant principal. The vibe of the school is very good. I hope it comes through.
Well, the thing that cat owners fear will happen just happened: I was throwing away the garbage bag of old litter and just as I was lifting it up to the dumpster the whole damn thing broke.
Lovely.
Fasting cat only has about 2 hours more of fasting to go. I think he hates me.
Oh, sumi, no! Oh, that's just horrible.
Thank goodness the litter box cleaning is done for today.
Hello my lovely Bitches in a shiny new thread.
I am free of my wisdom teeth. That part of things went smoothly. Although one took a bit to get out (at least that's what the oral surgeon told Mom). Next to me was a 13 yr old (who looked 19, at least that's what the nurses said) who had 4 wisdom teeth and 2 molars taken out, poor kid needed serious pain killers.
All the wisdom teeth related stuff went smoothly but the antibiotics for the UTI I found out I had did not. I got a prescription on Tuesday (I found out because when I got my blood work done they did a urine sample as well) but didn't start taking it until Thursday. By Thursday night I was bright red on my face, neck, and chest and felt feverish. CAlled Wal greens and they told me to take Benedryl and watch for problems breathing. That didn't happen. But I called the doctor's office and that was an interesting call. When I was finished with "I'm allergic to Septra" the nurse was about to get off the phone and I asked "well what are you going to give me now?" to which she replied "Why would we give you something?" Um BEcause I have a UTI and I can't take the Septra?! (exact quote).
Except it turns out they called in a prescription for macrodantin which I've been allergic too since toddler hood.
I'm also allergic to penicillin. The pharmacist at Wal greens was very nice and gave me some over the counter advice and updated my file there, it didn't show my allergies. She said in the future if the doctor tries to prescribe any of that it will automatically alert for my allergies and they'll let the doctor know.
If there's a Wal Greens near you I highly recommend them, they've been so much nicer than CVS and have all kinds of alerts like that.
I was going to try and mini meara but I'm still feeling a bit tired and woozy (from my last dose of Percocet). But a pox on Aimee's former friend, you look beautiful in that picture. Also on the unemployment people that really sucks. YAY VW for finishing the semster.
Job Ma to Aimee.
Also I like wedges, but not gauchos and don't mind flip flops.
(((askye))) Feel better.
Oops.
Job~ma for Aimee and ChiKat! Mmm, organic cotton.
I still expect Giorgiou's to be full of raw silk and it makes me a little sad that they apparently are not, but that beaded dress is mighty purty.
Scariness, askye! Did you end up with any anti-biotics at all?
Job~ma to everyone looking for work right now. Also health~ma to the sickies.
In meme news, I am wiped. I worked my tail off today to try to make up for the time I lost to medication stupidity and procrastination this week. Now I need to fight my way home through Friday-before-long-weekend LA rush hour traffic; get my nails cleaned up so they look halfway presentable for ND's family; clean the house up at least a little so that the appraiser coming this weekend doesn't screw our awesome landlord (who is refinancing, thankfully, not selling); pack my suitcase; find someone to take care of the cats while we're gone; and try to get a little more grading done before I collapse in a heap on the floor. Tomorrow morning we have to be out the door by 8:30 in order to drive to the airport and catch our flight to Houston for ND's niece's high school graduation. Those next few days will be chock full o' vintage ND-family goodness, I'm sure. Meanwhile, I must (MUST) grade at least 25 more poetry explications before school on Tuesday so that I only have 27 left for next week.
Oh, and next week? I have to write one last Macbeth quiz and the entire final exam.
Fucking meow, man. t /George Carlin
