Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I've broken a little toe two or three times, I'm not sure which (one was kind of borderline). Taping, roomy shoes (even better, sandals if possible), don't walk too far at any one time. Works for me.

When you're retired, your toe will probably sneak out and gamble away your Social Security check....

Won't be gone long, then...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Poor Sean's toe. Taping and ice sounds like a good idea.

I spent most of this afternoon on a train next to someone who totally did not understand the idea of seat boundaries. She was sitting with a suitcase between her legs (I suggested she move it over to the suitcase area, but she didn't want to), which made her let go a good six inches onto my seat. Then she complained when I crossed my legs, because my shoe was touching a bit of the fabric of her pants.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Did you tape it, Sean?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Didn't Windsparrow and Daniel meet here? (and if I have coupled the uncoupled accidently, I am OMG so sorry, but I am deeply stupid right now.)

I think that's one of my favorite Buffyisms and I say it all the time. Along with "Yeah, me!"

Didn't Windsparrow and Daniel meet here?

They met online, but elsewhere.

For a while, as I was walking. But we don't really have the right kind of tape. Just Transpore. No sport tape.

I'll tape it up again a little later, as it seemed to help.

The toe isn't really deformed or anything, though. Not even swelling all that much.

Duct tape! Duct tape will work!

I'm so glad I remembered SOMETHING (mostly) correctly today.

Paging Miss I-travel-tons-meara: What's the latest in regards to bringing liquids on flights? I'm going on an overnight business trip and I ain't checking a bag.

What someone else said above--the mousse is probably going to be a problem (EDIT: just cause it's likely more than 3 oz)

TECHNICALLY, you're allowed to bring more saline, and say it's a medical need, but I'd just get one of those travel size two ounce containers (they usually have them at Target or CVS in the travel size area, if not in the contact lens area). And for the smashbox stuff, if you don't already, get the mini size--it's half the ounces of the regular size, and half the price, and it's in a squeezy tube, so you can actually get more out of it than you can the pumpy jar thing.

Um. And that's my advice.

Now tagless for your comfort.

toe-ma for Seany! Ouch. I'd like your toe to return to its normal color.

Attention Jilli! You like stretch velvet stuff, yeah? I found this site for concert musicians' clothing. Plain stuff, it's true, but very affordable and could be added on to easily.
