Wrap dresses are my one true garment. I have a favorite black DvF one that showcases boobs and leg. I'm thinking of just turning my whole wardrobe into wrap dresses.
Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I like flowy peasant tops in theory, but in practice, yes, often make me look pregnant. Nothing is better than drapey soft jersey knit. I'm going to Target tonight, and if I can find that top, Steph, I'm buying it. My only problem with sash-under-the-boobs styles is they seem to be made to make little boobs look bigger, which somehow makes me look like I'm not wearing a bra. There's not always enough room on top of the sash for the boobs. This is especially true of Oriental and kurta styles. They only look good on little boobs. Which is sad, because I like them.
Wedges are OK. I have come around on the gaucho issue because I found a pair I love. Balloon skirts and puffy sleeves, never. Any clothing that's designed to make girls who aren't round look rounder makes me look like the Michelin Man.

Seriously! I really need a nice black one.
DvF are the best- it's her signature piece, so they better be. I have that black one I mentioned, a kind of tan jersey one and a teal one.
Also, have learned that teal looks good on everybody (not to be confused with turquoise).

Those wrap dresses are gorgeous, but a couple of them look too much like bathrobes.
ooh gorgeous!

The sash-under-the-boobs shirt I'm wearing today does not make me look bra-less. And I in NO way have little boobs. I'm guessing the key is, as always, a properly-fitted bra.
Sigh. Love those DvF dresses, but they are not for me. I know DvF says that wrap dresses can flatter every woman, but every one that I've tried on starts bunching and looking weird on me.
...
Actually, that's true of almost anything that's not highly structured. I think I just have that kind of body type.
Speaking of dresses, I'm a little in love with this one from Georgiou.
>[link] This is a lot like my black one, if you can imagine it about 5 or 6 inches shorter. Also, though I love her and the dresses, I would never spend that much. I recommend finding an upscale consignment store and letting them know you'd like to be notified if any come in in your size. Most people are looking for the more trendy brands. Also they're more likely to take them in if they know they can unload them.
