Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, well, I'm keeping my outrage banked in case I need it later.

Mostly I'm just ready to greet the new baby and not wanting any more thwarting. Baby!

Our wings are not tired.

I don't remember if Jess was being induced. She surely is due about now though. Her picture a couple days ago was 40 weeks. [link]

My first one they sent me home because I wasn't ready yet. That one was all natural because I have the big needle fear. Took about 16 hours.

Bobby another story.

I arrived in the baby triage area about 7am and they wouldn't really do anything until my doctor got there. Within an hour I was begging for something. I even let them set an IV (horror for me), but they wouldn't give me anything or move me until the doctor arrived. She arrived around 9am, took one look and yelled PUSH! She was a real drill sergeant. No time for drugs, no time to move out of the tiny area. Bobby arrrived about 2-1/2 hours after the first twinge. Man did that hurt.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

GO TIGERS!!

Justin Verlander just got the Tigers their first no hitter since Jack Morris in 1984 - the year they won The Series.

Their first at home since 1952.

does dance without hitting anything

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My coworker/real estate agent's daughter Gianna was born a couple of weeks ago. K's water broke at 3 am, she did her hair and makeup (not a brief process), headed out to the hospital, and Gianna was here at 6.

Although even that doesn't match my friend's wife who gave birth in the car in the parking lot of the birthing center.

In conclusion, you sprogging types should apparently be hanging out with me.

Thanks to Em and her contrary ways, I will have scheduled c-sections from here on out.

No hitter! Very cool.

Eta: is this an opportune time to reveal that I have a soft spot for the Tigers because they were Thomas Magnum's team?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Sounds good to me.

Virgil Trucks is the only pitcher in history to have thrown 2 no-hitters in a single season, 1952.

Against the Senators and the Yanks.

Our wings are not tired.

My former SIL had 5 kids c-section. Every single time she and Mike went to the classes and planned on a vaginal birth. Every single time she had issues that kept her in bed much of the pregnancy and then ended up with c-sections. The 5 kids, each exactly 2 years apart. Mikey swears he only had sex 5 times. (divorced now)

I'm recording b-ball for DH, but not watching yet. Go Cavs, regardless.
