amyliz -it's north of the city. I'm being cagey because I'm afraid of teh jinx.
PSA (and good ~ma forward): i just got phished from someone spoofing an amazon order - without my spam goggles on, it looks relatively real - even has an order number on it and says that I need to give them a valid form of payment in 24 hours. the return links are coded, but they basically go back to www.iamahacker.com. be careful if you get anything like it from the internets today. I get a bunch of them, but this one looked righter than usual.
My department is topsy-turvy today because one of the department heads was bitten by a spider on Wednesday afternoon and no one has heard from her since despite phone and email messages asking what's happening. She's not the drama queen type, but she is the hermity type, so we've sent a couple people over to her house.
Nora, I hope someone takes you out to lunch or something, instead of just speaking kudos.
Sox's bid-upon house is cute! ::crosses fingers harder::
thank you guys so much for the ~ma! They won't look at the bids until tonight or tomorrow am latest. so much for my stomach lining.
Nora, I hope this week goes by quickly for you.
so much for my stomach lining.
Stomach linings are overrated. As are livers. ::passes bottle to Sox::
::checks bottle label to see if TUMS or absinthe::
North is fine! We can meet in the city!
::crosses fingers and does the no-jinx dance::
Poor Nora! Although 26 hours of time-and-a-half is not bad.
Yikes, Sparky. I hope it wasn't an Ice Spider. ::ducks and runs::
Seriously, I hope she's okay.
I could use a shot or two of Fernet right now.
FERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH! Of COURSE!
