Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We finished almost everything today, except I have about half of my study left to pack. It's going to have to wait until tomorrow because I can barely move.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

15 feet of Ivy cleared today. 25 feet so far. Many feet to go. and I have to rip it out of the ground too. Work, but destruction, so it is fun.

eta: the 4 or 5 feet of trench, not nearly as much fun.

Librarian Warlord

{{vw}} I hope you get many hours of restful sleep.

::tosses Sox a poofy pillow::

I made a big Sunday dinner of pot roast and corn and beans and roasted veggies and rolls and something else I can't remember for my DH and the friend of his who has been staying with us and living out of a van as he travels x-country. I can't believe how much they ate. Boys are piggies! They have gone waddling walking to the grocery store for sorbet and ice cream because, apparently, they haven't had enough, yet.

My DH should weigh like 1000 lbs, and yet his calves are skinnier than mine are.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Timelies!

I am exhausted. Worked hard, and got paid more than I asked for, which was a sweet surprise. I have to go for jury duty tomorrow, which sucks. At least I didn't have too much work scheduled. Hopefully I won't have to go on Tuesday because that's a pretty busy day for me.

Like Kristin's hair! Funky.

I read meara's name in a book today, and wondered if it's pronounced Mee-eh-rah like I always imagined or meer-ah like I suspect (although maybe also mare-ah).

I am watching French Kiss. Makes me miss Paris.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm bored and I can't sleep. Somebody talk to me.

I found something to do. I bought a 30Gb video iPod (no, not just now; three weeks ago) and I'm finally putting music on it. My videophile friend at work has been teasing me for having the thing and not even taking it out the box. I'm weird that way.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Sassy Kristin hair!

vw, I'm sorry you had to deal with that. If I could, I'd send you our ex-doorman. He'd break a jaw for you.

I have had a weekend. We had slumber party last night. Y'all remember the saga with friend L whose husband is a dick? Friday night we were out and I guess when she got home he totally flipped out. Took her keys, wallet, passport, phone and smashed the land line. Threatened to shoot her grandfather if he came to get her. She was going to call me so that I could bring her over here and Mr. Jane could handle him, but no phone.

Right now she's at a friend's house. She packed enough for the sleep over last night to last her a couple of weeks. We went and saw Waitress earlier, which could we have picked a more on the nose movie?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I think I was loading tunes within an hour of getting my iPod.

Hey Beej, remember that calf cramp I got when we were walking to you place? It stuck with me the rest of the weekend and I had to go for an "emergency massage" to work it out. Ahhhh, finally some relief.

Oh, and I keep thinking about Bartleby. What a sweet dog.

Now I'm just hoping to get a decent night's sleep since my body clock is all screwed up.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Kristin the general consensus around here is that $3 would have been a nice tip for the pushy car detailer.
