Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

information libertarian

The baby woke and nursed at about 4:45. If I'm up at 5 I tend to be up for the day, unless I'm unusually destroyed. I could probably get back to sleep right now, but the baby will be up for the day in the next half-hour, so it's not worth it.

What is even happening?

I still do that, even though no one is waking me. If I wake up close to 5:00am, I stay up and enjoy the quiet. Besides, last night I was probably asleep before 9:00pm. The last thing I remember is watching Ned's Declassified Middle School Survival Guide with the kids.

flea - we're the same way. We can remember (sort of) sleeping in, but if Iris is up, eeeeveryone is up. It's been that way since the day she was born. I pass you coffee through the internets.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, how I love waking up to Buffista kids stories. They're all growing up too fast!

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Sox, there's a dragon boat regatta on the Schuykill today. If you aren't totally entrenched in the old man houses you might want to go. [link]

I'm off to see Tut's stuff.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gronk. This is the part of the move where I start to panick that it's not going to all get done in time. I grateful that Mom and stepdad are coming to help today because I'm so sore and not being very useful.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

MmmMmmMmmmm FredPete and Hubs took me out for breakfast. Good food and wonderful company. Buffistas are teh best!!!!

Now to pack. Blech. I hate this part. But following packing is meeting up with Sparky and touristing and then going home.

Side note - I love tech. I checked into my flight, but I don't have a printer here, so I saved my boarding pass as a pdf, mailed it to Sparky and she is going to bring me the hard copy.

Still no electricity, although the Electric Company claims they turned it on last night.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Much electricity~ma to you and TCG, sj, and right quick too.

ION, Matilda now fits the incredibly soft and cool piratical onesie you sent her: [link] (last 3 pictures in this set).

And so much ~ma to your uncle, DJ. Your family is long overdue for a good long stretch of extremely boring robust good health.

I'm still kind of awed that these horrible heart problems that used to mean certain death can now not only be alleviated, but alleviated without the trauma of surgery. Stick an incredibly slender little tube up the inside of someone's thigh or down one side of his neck, fix his heart... it's magical.
