Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cash, the Jergens stuff does work. How much time do you have?

Just a little over two weeks. But I'm in a strapless dress and I don't know if I'll get even coverage on my back.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Shhh, don't tell Daniel, but there is now a quilt/fabric shop about three blocks from here. I went in there today, had a lovely time chatting with the owner, signed up on an informal poll about who might be interested in what classes, and noted that this store has way better batting than what is available at Walmart. I thought of vw and her love affair with her quilt shop the whole time I was there.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I have to go with Jilli on this one. even though I am not a big sunscreen user and my no sun skin is a number of shades paler - it all happens due to gardening and normal outside-CA-life. I have to make fun of my sister,of course, because she has moved to the foggiest area of the bay area and is very , very white. but I can't imagine making someone tan for my special day

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

askye, so glad for your mom's good news!

ImeN, mammograms scare the crap out of me. I think I'd have to be high on Valium to be able to stand still for one.

I want:

  • A house that meets my needs that I can afford (mocking laughter is not inappropriate here);
  • A boyfriend (specific details omitted in the interest of appearing sane);
  • A means of making a living that I enjoy (any way I can get paid to tell other people what to do?).

Fleeing children: I fled once. Got on my tricycle and ran away from home. I wasn't allowed to cross the street by myself, though, so I could only go around our block. Apparently I hadn't got the idea of "freedom" quite down. I took my sweet time, and my parents were appropriately frantic by the time I showed up again.

No tanning! Embrace the pasty!

Hil, I love SYTYCD!! But I'm a little bitter that I'm in a hotel room and not with a TiVO. :(

ack! I would have tivoed for you! It was fun!

and making someone tan is complete bridezilla. I know she's your sister, but jeez!
