That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Me three.

I'm having a weird thing right now. I hooked up L with my lawyer friend, and emailed her to make sure she was able to talk to him. It surprised me that she didn't go into anymore detail about what advice he gave her, and then it occured to me. It was probably hard enough for her to talk to one person about it, and why would you want to rehash it again without a stiff drink in front of you? Also, he's acting as a lawyer. It's totally none of my business.

So thinking of all that, and the reality of what's going on, even though I'm not a fan of the way dude treats her, started to make me really sad. Then, I just get an email from her asking about Happy Hour because she doesn't want to go home to an empty, torn up house. Am now getting weepy at the desk.

move out and draw fire

Guess actually has a line of men's t-shirts right now I like.

Last time I wore Guess was when I got the employee discount in high school.

I suck. The people I was cat-sitting for? That locked me out? I think I left their garage remote in the rental car. The one that took me so long to return I missed Todd's birthday.

::headdesk::

I never used to be this lame.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think I was three or four when I decided I wanted to go see the polo ponies. I knew it wasn't safe to cross the four lane road they lived on the other side of by myself, especially since there was no light or crosswalk, so I took my sister's cairn terrier with me. (Hey, it worked for Dorothy.) I made it across the road but the ponies were behind two sets of fences and most of them were way across the field. I was trying to figure out how to get inside the second fence when they found me. When they asked me why I crossed the busy street when I could have been hit by one of the cars I replied, "they all stopped for me."

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

My cat once jumped on the back of a Doberman

When I was a kid we had a Daschund who would occasionally escape to wander the neighborhood with her pal, a neighbors cat. The cat always protected him when large dogs tried to bully him. But every now and then the cat plink him under the chin with a single claw, just to remind him who was in charge.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well, for starters, it took me until I was 32 to actually HAVE a career path.

Early bloomer.

Signed, 38 and no sign of a career path, even with all the maps I've bought
