Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Fuckin' Red Sox! Rassenfrassen pissing away another Haren gem bullpen.

Don't tempt me to turn on the game. I can't seem to get this essay written.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Argh!

Hey, anyone have any idea how common a name Tony Gama-Lobo is?

Because if one of my gifted program carpool partners became an award-winning TV writer, and another one is an elected official, I am going to seriously start feeling like a slack ass.

Always Anti-fascist!

Did anybody watch "The Starter Wife"? I was going to ask before today sucked so badly, but I forgot. I thought it was funny, though.

What is even happening?

Hey, anyone have any idea how common a name Tony Gama-Lobo is?

What do you want us to say?

Because if one of my gifted program carpool partners became an award-winning TV writer, and another one is an elected official, I am going to seriously start feeling like a slack ass.

Okay, why are you all hippie-chick about everything that makes more work for you, and then all Alex P. Keaton about your intellect vs. your career path?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The good guys are always stalwart and true. The bad guys are easily distinguished by the pointy horns or black hats...?

not your mom's socks.

Hey AmyLiz! - We're also looking in the borough... and everywhere else right now. I think Chestnut Hill may be interesting, but that's just from pictures. In West Chester, I just saw a farmhouse kind of thing that I can't believe I liked. But we're used to walking out our door and seeing lots of people, and walking to things, so suburbs - and driving - and especially Routes 30, 202, and 76 are not my favorite topics. We're hoping to be near enough to a train station that much of the commute is done for us, and we can maybe ditch a car.

I grew up in Wayne. That most places around Philly come equipped with their own real farmer's markets is a very ok thing. I like Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland all a lot better than Pennsylvania. I need open water somewhere nearby. But there are some things (farmer's markets, a reasonably well-planned public transportation system) that I've missed.

Living near a buffista or two would be awesome.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

AmyLiz, West Chester is nice - and not too far from DC (they have TRAINS!). And it's funny about you growing up in Newark - my mother and sister live there now; nice town, but hard to get to without a car.

And, just for the cute.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Why am I up an hour and a half earlier than I need to be? Grr.

In happier news, today is my last day of one of my classes! Next Tuesday is the last day of my other class! And I don't have class again until August (summer session)! So happy!
