Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm fond of the wedge sandals. Not so much the puffy sleeves.

Flip flops are specifically forbidden in school and yet a huge % of the kids are wearing them. Next week is the last week of school and I have noted a major slide in dress code compliance. They are all just begging to be sent home. Best news evah from my son last night was that 3 days next week he has late start. I have only one more day that I have to get up at 6 something.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yeah, Joe and I talked about that also, but couldn't they take like, Uristat and an antibiotic and mix it up and call it "HooHah Relief for Bladder Infections" or something?

Or, maybe no totally over the counter. Hidden behind the counter kind of like the pseudoephedrine stuff? And you have to give a blood sample to get it???

I need to go to Canada.

Librarian Warlord

she's here!!! ::dancing happy big-sister:: they got in at 2am, as expected.

Yay! Tell her I said "Hi!" when she's got some coffee in her.

O, Canada! Land of OTC Tylenol #3.

I just got back from the meeting that was supposed to tell me what my assignment/job was for parent wrangling during graduation. It was no help at all, and the woman running it kept confusing her right and her left. Add to that my horror!!1!! of people pinning corsages to the wrong side, and the day is pretty much ruined for me!

So, I should go home, right?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I haven't made it to work yet. I need to go in, at least for a bit, but I'm cozy in my pj's right now.

Must. Take. Shower.

Now.

What is the difference between gauchos and capris?

Aims - May 25, 2007 6:32:22 am PDT #140 of 10001
Shit's all sorts of different now.

Gauchos are a little bit shorter than capris- usually hitting right at the knee instead of just below. They are also wider in the leg openings. Kind of capri palazzo pants.

Art Crawl!!!

I thought that gauchos are loose at the hem and capris are fit closer to the leg?

Bubbleskirts should be banned. How shall we do it?

vw - congratulations!

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

And I, myself, am tired of the ubiquitous flip-flops.

If you're not at the beach?

PUT SOME REAL SHOES ON.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Can I get a pregnancy exception to that, since my feet are too swollen to wear any other kind of sandals?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The gauchos make me sad, because I used to be able to buy capris and wear them as full length pants, but now many of them are just a tiny bit too short for that.
