"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Shear Genius: I totally know!

Everything was awful, Vidal was awesome and the biggest, coolest teddy bear ever! I think Daisy's ideas were strong, but once again, she ran into time management problems. She's all up about the fates and everything, when she dropped that container of dye, she should have just not colored. I couldn't believe she tried to do three color jobs when she only had to do one. Ben could have totally won if he'd left his first cut down. Doing an updo to prove you can when you can't, not the best strategy. I liked his concept, though. Anthony's cuts were all blah to me.

Oh, but I would like to point out that Anthony had won two challenges, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah! So You Think You Can Dance totally just won my love forever via "Choreography," from White Christmas!!!

Thrive to spite them

Oh, now I'm all teary eyed, about the kid who gave up football because he loved dance more.

I think the broadcast is pre-taped, but voting is live (and there's a live results show tonight, same as with Idol), so the only way to skip ahead to the finale would be to eliminate more people every week so the finale comes faster. I doubt it'll be given another 2-hour timeslot.

On the Lot won't even be given two hours a week anymore. From the Futon Critic:

After another week of sagging ratings, FOX has dropped its Monday edition of "On the Lot."

The series will now condense its competition and results shows into one weekly one-hour program, airing Tuesdays at 8:00/7:00c starting June 5.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Huh. So will they be counting votes during the show, or just letting the judges pick, I wonder?

Ex Football player is going to vegas! I'm sure he won't make it far, but I'm glad that they are putting him through.

Everyone else there has been dancing a long time (even if they suck) and he just discovered this 8 months ago.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Man! I wish I'd watched more closely! I was flipping between Dance and CSI and missed all the good stuff on Dance. Wah!

"We have trust issues." Mylar

SYTYCD:

I am loving all over Shane Sparks. How cute was he with the dancer with scoliosis? I didn't even mind his busting on the hip-hop from the "skreet" girl. She was insane. Also hated Ashley Simpson and don't know why she was put straight through for rolling around on the floor and hair flipping, and by Mary no less! Ex-football kid is cute as a button and really good for only 8 months of training, but I think Vegas is gonna eat him up.

I cannot wait for Vegas. Lots of talented folks made it through. Although, I do miss the more workshop feel of the S1 LA Hell Week. And Mia's coming back. *Sigh* I will miss my Brian Friedman fix. Maybe at least they'll get him back as a guest coreographer.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

SG: I actually liked Anthony's hairstyles quite a bit. They were classic cuts that left the hair looking weightless and effortless. They complemented the wearers faces very well and they were all well cut. Daisy's were too fussy, too heavy for the face and the crimp in the bob was just plain stupid. Ben's were okay, but he did a crap cutting job on the bob and screwed the updo, which was as noticable as Daisy's unfinished pincurls. It is a competition; even if VS wants to cut them slack, they all can't win. Anthony did the best all around job and I would go to him for a haircut before I went to either of the other two.

SYTYCD: fun! I didn't watch this at all last season, so I have nothing to compare it to for now. I'm really enjoying the whatever-you're-supposed-to-call-it-but-not-breakdancing. There's a lot more goes into that than I ever realized.

I think Vegas is going to eat up the Ex Football boy as well, but I'm hoping that he'll learn from it and will help his love for dance grow. He obviously has talent as well as love for dance.
