I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I'm glad Blake didn't win! Because he's too awesome for that jackass song!

that song was pure cheese. i can't believe two guys wrote it.

i can't believe two guys wrote it.
It was way calculated, is my guess. 'Cause, yeah. Wow. Trite.

Jordin lost me for a few weeks, but overall I end the season fond of her. I'm willing to listen to the audio samples from her debut. I reserve the right not to purchase it, though. For reasons like "This Is My Now."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Just started watching Shear Genius. Am I the only one totally put off by like the opening minute? "If you want to be a world-class stylist, you have to understand African-American hair...Your challenge: straighten!" Ummm?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, it is a challenge....

brillig

I kind of grew to like Sanjaya. He struck me as the type to be a kickass variety show host, if they still had such things.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Underwhelmed by the AI finale, although they really had nowhere to go but down after last year's Mary J./Prince/teary eyed Hoff extravaganza.

Things I loved: Kiki and Melinda working it out with Gladys Knight
Melinda working it out with Bebe and Cece (if only they could've worked some Kiki in there as well)
The boys kicking all kinds of ass on the Smokey songs
Doug E. Fresh and Blake 4evaaaaa
Kelly and Joe Perry on Sgt. Peppers (even if she did biff the words)
Ruben blowing your American Idol away on their song

Things I hated: Kelly, I love you but your new song sucked ass. Please don't rip off Alanis anymore
Just about anything Jordin did tonight. I don't hate her, but she just really disappeared this evening
Why the Golden Idol Awards? Such a time suck. That could've been a Kiki/Phil duet (and I did not need to see the bush baby again)

Things I am perplexed by: Sanjaya was almost a little teensy bit hot during his solo. The hell? Still can't sing though.

Bring on So You Think You Can Dance

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Seriously cannot believe I just watched that whole finale and didn't even get to see the results! That's when you know it's fucking bloated.

Art Crawl!!!

Jesse- okay, I was COMPLETELY surprised by who that was on the video for Dr. Boogie.

Also, I guess doing something that could be completely the opposite that the hair wants to shows some understanding of working with the hair.

I'm just relieved that Anthony made it through. He worried me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had seriously decided that Boogie's line in the first episode about "I'm not gay or nothing" was a joke. I mean, I guess he could still be gay, since there was no baby's mama on the tape, but still. Confusing!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The local newscaster is standing on a Scully Box to interview Jordin. He's quite wee.
