I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I have a completely irrational love for Blake, despite what he did to The Cure a few weeks ago.

to be fair, 311 did it first and he really just copied them. i actually don't have a problem with either version. i like them just as much as the Cure. (plus, he's stated from pretty much the beginning that 311 is one of his favorite bands. so i wasn't surprised when he did their version.)

I guess right now I'm hoping for him or Jordin.

GO BLAKE! CHOOOOOOOOOOOOSE BLAKE!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Damn you people, now I have to go catch up on the stupid haircut show! I don't have time to watch any more shows!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I LOVED the woman judge who's name I can't remember busting on the young dude for wearing a tank top when he was working on his client!

Sally Hershberger - the most notorious ladykiller dyke in Los Angeles. Famously the inspiration for the hairstylist character on The L Word and best known for creating Meg Ryan's much copied 'do of the 90s.

I'm trying to think of challenges I'd like to see. Definitely something with vintage hairstyling, either a forties pin set and pompadour, or a sixties beehive. Something severely challenging for cutting technique - maybe when they get to a smaller group doing Sassoon style bobs on women with exactly the same hair texture. Maybe a professional makeover for women from a halfway house going to a job interview. They'll definitely have to do some sort of formal updo eventually. Speed french braiding a cheerleading squad? Maybe something with black hair since that's such a distinct skill set.

Daisy will get bumped for time management eventually. She's actually got a pretty good sense for hair. Anthony and Tabitha look like they could go to the final two, with Tabitha losing because she's not customer friendly. I'm curious to see if Tyson is as good as he thinks he is.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

to be fair, 311 did it first and he really just copied them.

It's more the fact that he was able to pick something form The Cure and that's the song he chose. But, if 311 is one of his favorite bands, then I guess it makes sense.

The coloring episode was really tense because all kinds of things were going wrong and they were on the clock. Dr. Boogie pulled some serious mojo out of his behind getting that hair back from blue to blonde.

How many eps have there been? Bravotv.com only lists 2, but I feel like people have been talking about it for longer than that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Just two eps, and they repeat it constantly.

Punishingly Intricate

he did indeed! I wish they explained more how he managed that. (of course to me it would just sound like "blah, blah blah chemistry blah")

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

There are just 2 eps, but they have been pretty jam-packed with action (particularly in comparison to the dreadful "Top Design") that I feel like I've watched 4-5 eps worth.
