According to TV Guide, it looks like it's 9 (maybe more that they don't mention?) episodes. I think the first three are available OnDemand now, so I can tape them as they show up there (sans commercials and those annoying pop-ups on the bottom of the screen), and then I can send you the tape when the season's done!

Shear Genius:

I caught a rerun of the last episode last night (men's dos/period hair).

It was the first time seeing the men's dos portions, and I really thought Boogie or Daisy was going to win. Both of them gave their men smoking hot looks, and Daisy's in particular totally made her man's eyes POP.

And I was quite pleased to see more of the softer, caring side of Tabitha, with her "It has to be you," to Boogie, as they were waiting for the winner to be announced. I know she seems very cold and hard, but we've been getting glimpses of a softer caring woman. I think there's just no middle ground with her. She either loves you or despises you.

As for the period hair portion -- I already mentioned my problems with the judging. This time around, I noticed that DANNA... if you wanted to find great, sassy 40's hair, even if just for inspiration, all you had to do was look in a mirror.

Also, I could only laugh and laugh and laugh at Boogie's complete cluelessness on the etymology of the word "medieval".

(Edited for pronoun matching. Which has now been quoted for posterity anyway...)

I KNOW! I was saying that during the show. I'm still pissed about Tabatha's fauxhawk.

I was just going through the TWOP Candid Reality forum, and someone mentioned the monkey episode of Dirty Jobs. That's up there with the ostrich farm in my favorite jobs!! The slightly wacky British lady who kept on giving Mike verbal bitchslappings, her laidback fiance (for twenty+ years), and, of course, Paddy, who had a taste for Mike and crew's flesh. He was probably more dangerous than any alligator or shark Mike's ever met!

I loved the Lake Erie snake-catching episode. That tiny girl catching like, a dozen snakes in one swoop while Mike got chewed on by a teeny baby one.

And then, later in the season, he responded to a viewer by breaking down the cost per snake-bite (her salary divided by how many times she got bit).

Chick-sexing! With the poop squeezing! The look on Mike's face!

Oh, and (in the Lake Erie snake one), making the snake puke up its half-eaten fish!
