I'd have picked the other one for the win, but yeah.
And Daisy sure deserved it. That was godawful.
Where is she from, anyway? Can anyone place that accent?

Do you mean Danna, brenda?
She's from South Africa.
She's from South Africa originally.
Shear Genius: The first bit was like my nightmare episode! You take all these guys with gorgeous long hair and whack it all off! I'm a sucker for long hair on guys. But at least a few of those cuts were reasonable, although Tyson's was awful.
FIGJAM! That's perfect for him. Man, he cannot go ten minutes without self-aggrandization.
And what the hell, man? How can you take a fantastic era for hair like the 40s and make it look dowdy? Nothing good about that style at all.
I know they said that Tabatha's mohawk was what they expected, but with hair that length, what else would have worked for 80s punk, do you think? And let me just say, especially for fine hair, it is damn hard to make it look like that. Part of the reason you can do a mohawk is that it's so much less in volume because of the shaved bits. Making the non-hawked bits sleek and clean like that is difficult.
I liked Ben's pincurls. I thought the feathers were a bit much, but they were probably in his kit, huh?
I thought Anthony was going to go. You get an over-the-top era like the 60s when you know there are other over-the-top eras going, and why don't you blow it out, have fun with it?
I think in some ways, the more elaborate the era, the better the hair looked, but partially because of the costuming. It's easy to picture the era with the full-blown gear on.
Oh, and I was annoyed that everyone's references were period film references.
Shear Genius: I thought Fig Jam's reference was that Queen Elizabeth's hairdresser appeared to him in a vision? (Though he totally didn't say that at panel.)
I hope the Curse of the Allure Wall continues and Fig Jam goes home next week. I canna deal with his Riff Raffness for much longer.
ANTM: Next week should prove interesting. It's going to require talking in front of a camera and I'm not sure that two of the final three are capable of that. Sadly, I think the one that could pull it off best is the one I like least, Baby Mama Drama Queen.
I was expecting Anthony to do an over the top beehive, that was 60s right?
And I'm not sure exactly what the judges expected Tabitha to do with all that long hair and 80s punk. It looks like they weren't allowed to cut it at all. Danna should have gone with a Veronica Lake look.
FigJam in a voice over talked about his vision but at the judging he referenced old movies.
Yes, he totally could have done an ott b-52. Or, a really stylized short cut like Twiggy.
Also, didn't powdering your hair come in later than the Elizabethan era? I really thought that they liked that hair because it reminded them of the Marie Antoinette movie only simpler.
I preferred the Victorian hair.
I thought that most of them did a good job with the short cut. And I realize that they have already eliminated the deadwood.
I bet they didn't want Tabitha to add as much color.
Their criticisms of Tabitha made no sense: I think that they wanted her to pretty up the look -- but she did punk. Punk isn't about being pretty.
