Though when the woman pointed out to Danielle that she might be hitting the buttons on the sides of the GPS, I wondered if that was maybe the problem - and either Charla didn't notice the buttons there or wasn't able to hold the thing without touching them.

IIRC, depending on what type of dwarfism she has, her hands may be unusually proportioned, which I suppose could add to the problem -- perhaps the only way she could get a grip on it was the "wrong" way. But given how flustered she seemed, it could just be panic-stupidity.
Charla's a less offensively irritating person than Mirna, but neither of them has ever struck me as being all that bright. I just don't think she was paying attention when the guy was explaining how to use the navigator.
Also quite possible.
Yeah. I may be being unkind, but her responses when that guy said that were always, yeah okay. Not, let me see, what am I touching? I just think she was panicky and not really paying much attention.
Liese, I think you're right. But man, Danielle is the one who really melted down -- that was pitiful.
I know! I couldn't figure out what was getting to her. Cumulative stress, I'm guessing. Cause with the edit, I thought she was getting seriously lost, but in the end, no, she ended up next out. But man, did she ever break down.
Always try to pay attention to where the cameraman is pointing the lens when you're very lost.
If only I usually travelled with a camera crew, this would be good life advice....
Who sang first on AI? Please don't tell me it was Blake. I got distracted and switched over to hear Simon criticizing Jordin.
