Experimental TV: Cable Drama

This thread is an experiment to discern the Buffistas' interests in television discussion. It will be closed on June 1st, 2007, after which our community will engage in creative discourse about the future direction of our boards. This is the thread for cable aired drama. All discussion must be in whitefont, with the name of the show upfront, for 24 hours after the show airs, presumably in the US. No future spoilers in thread (take those to the spoiler thread for serious ones or spoilers light for casting type info).

Art Crawl!!!

While I was watching "How Not to Decorate" (Must See if you have BBCA) - they ran a promo for their new schedule. It looks really good.

Some sort of police procedural on Mondays, MI-5 on Tuesdays, Footballer's Wives on Wednesday (trashy Wednesdays?), Kitchen Nightmares on Thursdays, Murder Mysteries on Fridays, Hex on Saturday and Robin Hood (season 2? Repeat of season 1?) on Sundays.

The Riches: we must be getting close to the season finale because uh - it looks like the shit is going to hit the fan.

Waking the Dead: Interesting if confusing episode.

I have thoughts on last week's Riches, but they will wait until after I see tonight's episode.

Man, The Riches cuts right to the bone, doesn't it? Especially Dahlia. Last week's was good, but this week's might be one of the best so far. More comments tomorrow night, after the wait period.

(And talk about timing! We'll be able to talk about the finale, just before the thread closes down forever)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The last two weeks of the Riches have been excellent. I can't even imagine how they are going to wrap all of this up next week. The only problem I am having with it is believing that Dale is smart enough to have a real plan. His characterization before this has always seemed to be act first think later.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

he may not be, but Hartley seems pretty calculating.

Well, the nice thing about them getting a second season is that they don't have to wrap everything up next monday.

Also, I kind of want to change my tag to the "He cut my dick off," "He cut your dick off?" "My metaphorical dick," exchange, but a) I'd have to wait until I can catch it again, to get the wording right, and b) that might be a little much for a tag.

There have been other tags with curse words in them before, though, right?

Oh, yeah. I had one with Plei suggesting interesting things to do with a strawman.

(pssst. you might want to change your to you're in yours)
