"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Damn, Lady Heather rocks. I love her dynamic with Grissom, and I really wish they'd gone down that road. But I loved Catherine talking to Sara about Grissom's past loves being beautiful, intense, and seriously difficult. With the implication that maybe Grissom's attraction to Sara is more about her being the most messed up of all than anything else. Of course, I could be reading a lot into that.

yep. And one of the reasons that he and Lady Heather didn't work is that she's not as damaged as he thinks she is. Frankly, she;s no more damaged than anyone else.

Numb3rs: I can't believe that Colby is a traitor!

MY BABY!!!! FLAIL! FLAIL! FLAIL! I almost cried!! I looooove him. I can't believe this!

Given the previous episode this season with his old buddy, I thought it was going to turn out to be someone else because Colby being a spy was too obvious.

yeah, but who else could it be? David? Probably some contractual thing, the actor wanted to leave.

, though I don't understand why on earth Booth and Max had to punch at each other, unless it was to give me the lovely sight of Dave in motion. But I can fully believe that, having made sure Brennan's brother was safe and hidden, he turned his mind to his daughter and the ways he had left her, and made sure he wouldn't do it again. (Except I fully believe he could get out of jail anytime he so wished, or if it was needful.)

It was cute. I guess so that Max could say he didn't go quietly.

I liked the set-up for next year if only because it means that there are actually consequences for the many rash actions of the BAU team and not just simple resolution; but I think making Prentice the person to follow Hotchner is cheap and stupid on the part of the superior. There is very minimal chance that the team will actually follow her at the expense of Hotch, particularly after he pulled them through the many personally difficult things they experienced this season. And it's ridiculous to make those kind of claims in the face of the BAU solve rate. But I look forward to next season nonetheless.

I dont' think that the superior was offering the leadership of the BAU, just her continued membership in it. But, Prentiss is an idiot if she thinks that she can get away with it. We just saw how good Hotch is. Does she think that she can tank his career and no one will notice any change in her actions or demeanor?

Frankly, I think there's a good case to be made for Lady Heather being less damaged than most.

Okay, not counting the incident with her daughter, where she tried to whip the bad guy to death until Grissom came along and stopped her, but she was under extreme emotional duress at the time.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Prentiss ought to go straight to Hotch and tell him everything, and the two of them work out a strategy to hold onto their jobs and sink that Evil Lady whose name I don't know.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I gave up on Gray's after George and Izzy "fell in love". Just... too much. I had all the episodes on my DVR and couldn't be arsed to watch them. For me the series ended after Mere died and then didn't. Though I'm pleased Christina didn't marry Burke.

I find I'm enjoying the show now just as much through Buffistas' reactions and recaps as I did actually putting in the 42 minutes to watch the episodes.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And one of the reasons that he and Lady Heather didn't work is that she's not as damaged as he thinks she is.

She wasn't, anyway, and she seemed to be more able to get inside him and give him some insight into some of his damage than anyone else.

But I'm not sure that's the case any more.

until that point, I would have said that she wasn't damaged at all. but, that was hardcore, yo.

Prentiss ought to go straight to Hotch and tell him everything, and the two of them work out a strategy to hold onto their jobs and sink that Evil Lady whose name I don't know.

yes, because that makes sense. But, we know that she won't do that. Or she will do it and they won't show it, and then vendetta!superior will try to take down Hotch, but he will be prepared and make her eat her words.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh hey, did everyone know that on Ugly Betty, the other woman in the dentist's office (not Kristen Chenoweth) was the star of La Fea Mas Bella, the Mexican version of Betty La Fea?

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Though there is no excuse for missing your friend's wedding, dudes.

Well, there are some excuses. Many things bothered me about the ep, but this was one of the smallest.

I find I'm enjoying the show now just as much through Buffistas' reactions and recaps as I did actually putting in the 42 minutes to watch the episodes.

This is a good point. GA is not appointment tv for me anymore, but I have watched the eps I was home for. Still, I think I enjoy watching through b.org perhaps even better than actually watching the eps themselves. I didn't think of that until you wrote it, Zenkitty.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

yeah, but who else could it be? David? Probably some contractual thing, the actor wanted to leave.

[casting spoiler] No, he's still around next season. It's less certain if Diane Farr is staying, though.

Many things bothered me about the ep, but this was one of the smallest.

Indeed, but when you've already suited up--and in Alex's case, are actually in the church, I find it pretty inexcusable.

So I just rewatched seasons 1-5 of the Jared Padalecki clips from GG, and *man* was the show different in the beginning. It's amazing how much more mature it became, more adult it became, as Rory grew up. Which is probably the point, but the difference is pretty astonishing when you mainline five seasons in three hours.

Also, Jared went from a cutie with a head that was way too big for his body to smokin' hot in the space of a summer between seasons three and four. Sweet weeping Zeus, I'm skewed to think he's hot anyway 'cause I grew up watching GG and because of SPN but damnation was that tall, tall, tall boy fine as hell when he was 19. Lord.

And he can do a fine loom over tiny little Milo Ventrimiglia, or however you spell his name. It's a good thing Zach Quinto and hot-dude-what-plays-Mohinder aren't super-tall, because Milo looks *scrawny* compared to Padawhatsis.

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

Is 6'4 not considered super-tall? Maybe it's just because I'm 5'1 and everything is super-tall to me.
