Oh, I did some crazy math and I think that season 3 began five months ago.

Sandra Oh is so awesome, she makes me forgive a lot of Shonda Rimes's bullshit.
All three seasons are 1 year.
Does that work with Bailey's pregnancy? I never really thought about it being one year, but I guess it would have to be.
There were too many depressing season finales this year. I just watched the finale of Ugly Betty, and it was almost too painful to watch.
Numb3rs: I can't believe that Colby is a traitor! And the Diane Farr character - it sounds like she might not be back either.
Caught up on a bunch of TV last night. Damn, Lady Heather rocks. I love her dynamic with Grissom, and I really wish they'd gone down that road. But I loved Catherine talking to Sara about Grissom's past loves being beautiful, intense, and seriously difficult. With the implication that maybe Grissom's attraction to Sara is more about her being the most messed up of all than anything else. Of course, I could be reading a lot into that.
GA: I'm really disappointed in how they handled Burke and Cristina. Meredith didn't just need that - the show needed it. But OTOH - when Burke was walking back down the aisle, I kept expecting Cristina to walk out, and was thinking "this is the first time in a long time - maybe ever - he's met her halfway." (And even there, it would have been inadvertently.) So while I think it was the wrong choice for the show, it may not have been wrong for Cristina. And damn, did Sandra Oh sell the hell out of it.
A year ago, if you'd told me the two main couples would break up, I'd have expected my sympathy to be with Derek and Burke. Things do change. What a couple of fuckheads, Derek especially. I can't wait for that shit from last week to explode all over him.
Loved the Chief and Adele though. That was some amazing work, and a beautiful way to wrap up a story line that looked like it could have gone soap opera like the rest.
Also kind of loved Callie subtly sticking it to Izzy in the church.
Bailey, ouch. I thought it was odd she wasn't at the wedding, but didn't pick up on why. Unlike George, who I knew was lying about having passed.
On Bailey, though - much as I love her, and much as she's their boss, not their mom...she's got five interns and only one has arguably not gone completely off the rails over the course of the year. I don't know that I'd say she failed them, but neither did she cover herself in glory there. I wish we'd seen signs of Callie having interns of her own (she must, right?) and even off-hand references to whether or not they're as fucked up a bunch as Bailey's.
Given that GA-time is much like Lost-time - Izzy's declaration of love for George is even worse. I mean, it was probably what -- six months ago that she risked her career and Bailey's career to get Denny a heart? Probably less than 4 months ago that she was so distraught about his death that she let that check for 8 million dollars just sit on the fridge forever.
Actually, that much I can kind of see. She's always been George-obsessed, and in the wake of everything that happened, I can see her plunging into something like this without thought. I think the whole thing has more to do with Denny than is apparent.
Numb3rs: I can't believe that Colby is a traitor! And the Diane Farr character - it sounds like she might not be back either.
I feel like the Colby situation came out of left field. Have I been missing clues all season? It sounds like it could go either way with Megan. I sure would miss her if she goes, but I'd also like to know what she saw, was part of, at DOJ that made her want to leave. I also missed Larry last night.
I agree that the Colby thing totally came of left field. Completely surprising.
I was the opposite on the Colby thing. Given the previous episode this season with his old buddy, I thought it was going to turn out to be someone else because Colby being a spy was too obvious.
