"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The GA finale was possibly one of the most depressing season finales ever.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

If, at the end of next season, someone loses their fiance whilst wearing a formal dress, I'll quit watching. STG.

Okay, somebody needs to put a bug in Jeff Buckley's ear that if he doesn't stop licensing that damn song, he's going to permanently alienate his audience.

(The others, too, but his version is the worst offender.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

How did ER end? I've been trying to find some information but no such luck.

Neela was at an anti-war protest. Tony showed up, too, and was pushing through the crowd to get to her. There were some counter-protesters, there were some shots fired (the camera angles made it look like it might have been the cops who fired, but I don't think we saw that for certain), and everyone started running. Neela fell down and got trampled by the rest of the crowd and Tony kept trying to get to her.

There was some kind of disaster releif montage to Hallelujah, I think Katrina but I can't remember which news show it was.

There was one that they showed endlessly on VH-1 for the few days after 9/11.

Thrive to spite them

What happened to the other guy, the cute hip doctor who liked her as well?

According to wikipedia Hallelujah has been in the following tv shows but it doesn't describe how it was used, I'm assuming musical montages for most:

Holby City, House, M.D., Falcon Beach, The L Word, The O.C. (twice by Jeff Buckley, once by Imogen Heap), Hollyoaks, The West Wing, Scrubs, Without a Trace, Cold Case, Criminal Minds, ER, The Shield, Nip/Tuck, Crossing Jordan, Drama and Nicole, Rescue Me, LAX, and Numb3rs. It was also used in the Third Watch and Without a Trace episodes dealing with the 9/11 events. "Hallelujah" was played at the closing of NBC's Dateline on April 17, 2007, covering the Virginia Tech massacre.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

askye-

At the end of ER, Neela leaves Ray and takes a taxi home. The taxi is blocked by an anti-war protest. She gets out and walks through the protest. John Stamos (can't remember his character's name) is looking for her and finds each other. As he is calling to her, a fight breaks out and she gets trampled, seemingly.

He's the one who was hit by the truck two weeks ago. This week, Neela found out where he was, went to visit him in the hospital, and both his legs had been amputated below the knee. He was very bitter (obviously), and told her that he was sick of being jerked around. His mother and sister came to bring him back home, and his sister told Neela something like, "This is all your fault, you selfish bitch."

Oh! And to throw in just a few more anvils leading Neela to the protest, there was a drug-seeking guy in the ER who'd had a breakdown after witnessing US interrogators torturing Iraq prisoners in Iraq, where he'd been a translator.
