Well, it was pointed out that the Morse code could also be referring to Hawkins.
I just looked at my last post. I meant that "Oh, please" as a "Oh please let Heathr live." I love SG as Heather as much as I hated her as Judith, if that makes any sense.
SA! I'm glad someone else adores this show as much as I do. I've been DB's bitch all along so, of course I watched the first show and was delighted by the ensemble. I still miss the original boss, though.
Me too! It's funny, no one anywhere on the interwebs knows why he left the show, and the only reference is to a two-month sabbatical, which has totally been blown past well into the season.
I just watched the episode where Hodgins tampers with evidence (augh three in the morning) and bless Booth's heart, he is so totally going to be talking to his amusingly british therapist about Bones verra verra soon. I really want to watch another episode. Except it is three in the morning. Sigh.
See, the thing is, I am totally there on the ship train. Um. The ship ship? whatever. Booth/Bones, yes, please, so right there with you. but also, I'm happy to watch it play out over the next couple of seasons. I think this show is going to do its headlining couple right, because the producers have learned from the failings of all the shows aforementioned, and have figured out their characters and the pace this relationship can run at. It's part of why I'm so behind it--I can see us moving eventually toward that spot, but I'm in no rush to get there.
No! They killed HEATHER!!!! Damn them.
Oh, man. I watched first few episodes of Jericho and gave up around the time it went into hiatus, because I was watching already too many shows and just couldn't keep up. (And I had some issues with the writing, but I hear it's been very strong after it came back from the break.) Heather was probably my favourite character. I can't believe they killed her. Woe.
For all my media-ho ways, I've just realized that I don't watch any shows that belong in this thread other than FNL, which has already had the season finale. Huh. Well, I've been watching Brothers & Sisters when I remember to -- it's a pretty well-done soap, with some talented actors in it, but I'm not fannish about it at all.
Bones:
I still miss the original boss, though.
Yeah. I think they brought in Cam so they could have a romance involving a star without having Booth and Bones together. Which also explains Bones and Sully.
Am I the only one who liked it better when Booth and Bones were more friends than anything else?
I think that the ship angle was there early, but I much prefer the eps where they don't really play it. I keep getting bored with Bones because of the same old, same old procedural stuff (same with House). Then I keep coming back because I love the characters (same with House).
Jericho, I don't know, I keep thinking it will turn a corner and become something I really like, but it hasn't yet. I feel obligated to watch it, though, in case it starts being really good.
I'm sort of here, but without quite the sense of obligation. I love the characters of Bones, but the arc-y goodness of Jericho. I end up going back and forth between them. It's kind of frustrating that they're on at the same time, as I like both, but don't adore either enough to quit the other.
eta: I like the character of Cam fine, but does it bug anyone else that she seems
way
too young to have her position? I have a hard time with handwaving that. She seems much younger than Brennan to me.
I love the procedural nature of the show--I find it very soothing, and the characterisation is like super-aweseme bonus for me.
Hm. From network TV I watched S60 and Black Donnellys (cancelled), Friday Night Lights (finished), Criminal Minds, Bones, Numb3rs, Grey's, Gilmore Girls, House, and NCIS. Of the network shows we don't have other threads for.
God, I watch a lot of shows.
You might try a lateral move to
Without A Trace
which offers up some mysteries that aren't slam-dunks from the first scene....
Looks like they're airing the Bones pilot on Friday night, for those who want it check it out from the beginning. Don't know if they're going to keep rerunning it or not.

Oh god there's no way I could take on something more. I'm already way too invested in the procedurals I currently watch.
I might disagree a tad with Theo there. I actually gave up Without a Trace several months ago and I have no regrets. I watched it from the first ep and I found the show becoming a bit too depressing. Seeing as how I watch a non-stop block of crime, this may be saying a lot. I gave up Cold Case for similar reasons.
