Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, Larry struck me as being in a "What do you after you live your dream?" place. He doesn't exactly seem changed to me, but more open to change. And going to a monastery seems more sane than living in the university basement or access tunnels or whatever it was, which makes me think he's more in touch with what he needs.

Wood Harris, y'all. Awesome.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Well, Larry was only living in the tunnels because he was divesting himself of property in preparation for the trip. He had an apartment prior to that.

I think Larry did change, which was evident in his last determined line about hoping he doesn't retain the same obsessions he had prior to the space station. I really think that nothing could have been better for Larry in terms of self-growth that forcing him out of the many little boxes he'd pushed himself into. On the space station, there was no room for any of that, so he was forced to divest himself of them, and so became different because of that.

I hope Meghan comes back soon--I want to see their reunion. I don't know if the actress has had her child yet, though.

Right, but I think the living in the tunnels phase was an expression of the same impulse that is now taking him to the monastery. I guess if being ready to change is change (which I can buy, actually, because he was very comfortable with his, as you put it, boxes before) then he's changed, but he hasn't added the greens yet.

Punishingly Intricate

Is it wrong that I loved the GG ep last night? Lorelei singing the Dolly version of that song KILLED me. I am a giant sap (also giant Dolly fan).

Art Crawl!!!

So, I have LOST my tape of the first episode of Hustle, I taped completely the wrong thing last week - is it even worth my while to try to tape this week's episode? I mean -- will I be completely lost?
