Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Thank you, Corwood! Yes, I was trying to refer to "Atlas Shrugged". The really long bad Ayn Rand novel (as opposed to the shorter bad Ayn Rand novels).

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Snerk. One of the Aspen mayoral candidates had that with him at a recent debate. The NPR lady asked him about it, and he talked about the super-long speech at the end and the length of the book, and how it's about excellence, and I was sitting there thinking, "How can this guy not be aware of the cultural baggage that comes with that writer?"

Always Anti-fascist!

Wood Harris is awesome. Though my favorite dealer is still String. Am still blown away that he's UK-ian. Idris is even better at being US than Hugh Laurie(Who, his own angst aside, is pretty damn awesome at it.)

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I just ordered The Outsiders on Netflix. I may not have big cable or TiVo, but I lurve me some Netflix!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I don't think I've ever read Ayn Rand so it went over my head.

Now you're just rubbing our faces in it. Some of us didn't really want to read Ayn Rand, y'know! It just sorta happened.

I think Freddy Quimby should walk out of here a free hotel

Right, so. Is Ayn pronounced 'Ann' or 'Ay-n'? Also, while I'm at it, was Fred on Angel played by Amy Ache-r (In My Back) or Amy (Ache In My B)Ack-er?

What is even happening?

I'm pretty sure Amy's last name is pronounced ACK-er.

Thanks Cindy. That's a surname that's new to me. Well, five-years-old new-to-me. Er.

Thrive to spite them

I was hoping that The Outsider would be available on Netflix's Watch Now thing but it's not.

For those of you haven't tried Watch Now, if you have high speed internet it's great. So far I've watched a few things that I don't mind seeing on my computer (tv shows) and wasn't sure I wanted to waste my queue space on them. The picture quality is just like watching any file I already have.

You get the number of hours equal to how much you pay - so if you are paying $17.99 you get 18 hours.
