Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I love how House tells Wilson that the gave Foreman a whole "guilt is useless" speech and then in the next breath reveals that Wilson's ex has guilted him into taking the dog.

Wilson's ex has guilted him into taking the dog

I think it's another way for House to get Wilson into his place, because Wilson apparently quite likes the dog. This episode was pretty clearly "House is damned possesive of Wilson and doesn't want anyone else to have him." If I thought they'd go that way, I'd expect House to back Wilson against a wall, kiss him and say "You're mine, get it? No one else can have you." Though he could still say it to Cuddy, "Stay away from him, bitch, he's mine."

Wilson's ex has guilted him into taking the dog

Something that didn't strike me until I got into work today... I have some pictures from a TV Guide magazine article about House tacked up on the cube wall, and one of them has the quote, "House will never get a puppy. You won't find him sweetening up or becoming more compassionate. That would be the end of our show."

Puppy down, sweetness and compassion to go.

If I thought they'd go that way, I'd expect House to back Wilson against a wall, kiss him and say "You're mine, get it? No one else can have you."

I'm glad I'm not the only person who read that into it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

GG: Over at TWOP lots of people are mentioning Oz (as in Wizard of) references. All I can think of are Lorelai riding her bicycle and Jackson destroying her dollhouse. Did any of you guys noticing anything of the sort?

Someone on my flist made this list:

She rode a bike.
She had a basket on it.
Her outfit (hated the sleeves) looked like the witches outfit a little.
The girls called their apt. in NY Glenda
The Wizard was going to fix the doll house.

Our wings are not tired.

House was ok last night. I didn't love it as much as many episodes. The staph infection thing rather freaked me out. When my son was about 5 weeks old he had what looked to me like an awful diaper rash. It was staph and we were in the hospital for several days. They used words like "rapidly fatal," which you don't want to hear when you are a new mom.

The stuff with the ex-wife was infuriating. The Wilson/Cuddy amusing.

The dog should chew House's cane.

The dog is purely a bribe to lure Wilson further into House's web.

edit: In fact, Wilson is still in a hotel, so he needs a place to live, so House could end up buying a condo with another bedroom . . .

If this show actually does have House and Wilson get together, it will win every prize that can be bestowed. It would certainly be canceled, but...

I can hear the slashers squeeing from here.

They could have a whole season of "Which of us goes after Cuddy so she can have her baby, or do we propose a threesome?" I don't think they'd go for the slash, unless there's a category for emotional slash.
