Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Then there was JAG, where they kept the veiwer watching in exasperation for 10 YEARS for something to happen between Mac and Harm. I quit watching around year 5 or 6, it couldn't compete with Buffy on Tuesday nights once I found her. I want something to pan out between Bones and Booth sooner than that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm just watching House, and like Jessica said in Natter, lip waxing is totally not part of a spa day! It's five minutes on the way home! Of course, I'd never do it at lunch, because of the redness, but still.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I watched the first episode or two of Bones and just wasn't grabbed, but so many people whose tv opinions match my own love it. so maybe i'll give it another shot this season or something...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think Bones took 5 or 6 episodes to gel -- suddenly the generic Squints became cool characters and the show really took off for me.

What is even happening?

It was too much for me to keep up with Bones, last year, because I already watched Lost and VM was on Wednesdays for a good chunk of the year. Then I just let it go. Now I'm watching Jericho, even though I suspect Bones is much better. I just haven't gotten back around to it.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

It helped that I had a super pimptastic introduction to it. But really, watching it all in one go is my favorite way to watch television, especially television I'm just getting in to. You undertand a lot more of the character motivations and overall energies better.

I just watched the episode with the serial killer, and man, it just hit home for me how this show hits all the right emotional highs for me. And this show is the perfect example of letting DB off the chain! The man can freaking act, and you never saw it as much with Angel because Angel was such a one-note character. In Bones, it's like Dave has the freedom to really stretch himself, which, after lusting after him for the last ten years, is a treat and a half.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Am I the only one who liked it better when Booth and Bones were more friends than anything else? I've been annoyed with the way they've been playing up the romancy vibe, what with the roadblock relationships.('Cuz you can't get the leads together romanticly or the show will die. Nevermind that Moonlighting had a lot of other problems besides the lead characters boinking)

Then again, I'm not fond of the fictional romance I'm seeing these days.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hated the first episode of Bones, but I tried watching again later in the season and started liking it. It's not a show I would worry about missing, but I enjoy it.

Jericho, I don't know, I keep thinking it will turn a corner and become something I really like, but it hasn't yet. I feel obligated to watch it, though, in case it starts being really good.

And I think Aillean is right about House orchestrating the whole thig so he can be sure he's not stepping on Wilson's toes when he makes his move on Cuddy. I didn't put it together whileI was watching, but it makes sense.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am watching Jericho for the first time, and there is a boy on it who looks so familiar. He has dark hair and was just talking about being the "vibe" guy. I am not sure if he is just reminding me of someone I know, but has he been in something else?
