Somebody in my old neighborhood has red Miata with the license plate TOONCES. Always cracked me up.
'Dirty Girls'
Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
During the invasion of Iraq, I saw a TV interview with a US Navy fighter pilot... he was all very macho and competent and everything, but on the screen they put his call sign "Toonces" along with his name, so I thought it detracted somewhat from his image.
Hah! Oh, that's way better.
Yeah, I can just imagine all the ribbing he gets: "He can fly, just not very well."
Hey, Torchwood 2.1 is up On Demand - they're calling it a "Director's Cut" and although I cannot be sure that I saw anything new - the transitions do seem less abrupt.
And they ran that promo that Jon was talking about earlier. So, if you have On Demand - I recommend it.
So, just saw the Season finale of Doctor Who Season 3.
Huh.
Dobby. Didn't see that coming. And Rusty doesn't seem to know whether to make the Doctor be Jesus or Mary, does he? Although he's mostly going for Jesus. Which seems a trifle excessive, frankly.
However, I heart the Master. And Jack. And Martha. And Martha's mum. Not terribly smitten by the storytelling, though.
Valentino wanted John Barrowman for his boytoy and who wouldnt!
I thought you meant Rudolph Valentino and was worried you were giving away a spoiler for a future episode!
Jeeze. This thread is harder to kill than Captain Jack.
New Torchwood tonight!
(*cough*, also, for those of you who know where to find me on LJ, I just posted a thing)
