Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

There was also that chick in "The Long Game."

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

There was also that chick in "The Long Game."

Oh, yeah. The journalist who eventually helped them defeat the editor.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

And the cop actress was also cast as Jabe very early in new Who.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hmm. You're right. That is exceedingly typey.

I'd like to hear more British takes on this. My background is terribly muddy, and I'm not sure what takes the credit/blame for me not being pinged. It's possible that it's really plausible for the writer to not be saying anything either over or under the text, and the intendend audience not reading in either way.

I actually hadn't noticed it until Victor pointed it out, but he's so right.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So Chrome Artie just goes from Dr. to Dr. getting stuff done?

That would be a cool episode of House....

Our wings are not tired.

Generally speaking I like the pace of the show. Good tension and action stuff. Like seeing the kid step up a bit.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Wait, I'm confused. How did the head come through if the contruction worker found it in the wreckage of the bank?

The head came through and ended up along the road. The rest of the body was in the junkyard.

The contruction worker found the head and took it home. The body came after the head.
