Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Gah!

Things that are really good: finally finding a stall that sells Doctor Who Season 3.

Things that are very bad: watching all of said season with great glee, only to discover that the second part of the finale is not on any of the disks.

!!!!!!

I mean, I gather that the planet earth is saved. But, but, but...

weeps

Also - damn, I was looking forward to the slashy potential of THAT character cropping back up and interacting with the Doctor since - well, pretty much since the start of Season 1. And I was thoroughly spoiled, but it was so much more fun than I'd expected! But but but...

stares accusingly at DVDs. weeps some more

Also, lest I forget - not only is Martha made of awesome, but, damn, her mother is hot.

I think I need to go and re-read the kerfuffle about race in Doctor Who Season 3. Because I'm really not seeing badness. But that may be because of my priveleged position as white chick. But - really not seeing it, thus far. Perhaps I just need cluesticking.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Oh, dear, what an ep to be missing, Fay.

Personally Fay, I think that gives you a better viewing experience of Season 3 than those of us who saw the finale. Not a fan of how RTD handled the resolution of that season.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Out of curiosity, Matt, did you watch the SciFi or BBC cut of the ep?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Well, RTD is a Buffy fan.

Cause he clearly stole the Polgara demon.

My love for Ianto continues to grow. I love him to the point that I've named the iPhone Ianto.

his snark was lovely. That's all I got.

SciFi. Though from what I've heard and seen of the excised portions, they would have only solidified my opinion rather than changed it.

The evil is this way?

Seriously, did they get Joss in to write Ianto this ep? Because the snark had a Whedon-esque flair to it.

My thought, too. I know Russell Davis is a "Buffy" fan, but I've rarely seen a character getting to say that much snark outside a Mutant Enemy show. The actor delivers it well, too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Vortex, shouldn't that be iAnto?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Did anybody watch Eli Stone after Lost this past Thursday? A co-worker recommended it and I've watched up until the opening credits so far, and hullo Johnny Lee Miller and a title card that looks awfully similar to Eureka's (back of a pretty head and a blue sky with fluffy clouds beyond).
