Sarah Jane was one of the previous Doctor's companions. (See her in season 2 of Doctor Who.) (In case you didn't know who she was.) I got to see the pilot for the series and it was excellent. Sadly, I'm guessing that is all I will be seeing.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Sarah Jane Smith was The Companion for me in the old-school DW days, just as Tom Baker was The Doctor. She had such great chemistry with both Pertwee and Baker, and really got what makes a companion great.

I just watched the Children in Need special with Peter Davison and David Tennant--what a brilliant miniep! Did y'all talk about it here?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Sarah Jane Adventures was a lot of fun. More kid friendly than Dr. Who (her "companions" are all teenagers), and a bit more silly, but not overly so. I enjoyed 'em.

Then again, when you factor in episodes like "The Empty Child" and "Blink," Dexter is more kid friendly than Doctor Who.

I'm regarding with trepidation the thought of what links ita might be able to turn up featuring posed stone angels...
