A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Torchwood 2.2:
Oh, Ianto, how are you so awesome? Actually, they were all pretty awesome. The lead guest actor was really terrific, I thought. Too bad she had to die. Brave way to go, though.
I'm trying to figure out what the arm/sword reminded me of. I think it's something from Buffy.
CB radio! Loved that. Breaker, breaker.
OK, so last week's preview was from coming episodes, then. I was kind of wondering how they were going to cram all into one. And only the second one.
possibly Adam, Jen?
Torchwood 2.02 i'm loving Ianto version 2.0. i like my men with snark. "hello? anyone there? no, because the phones aren't working." hee!
Torchwood 2.2: You know, the more I think about it, the more I think it might be
T2. Is there a scene in a kitchen where Robert Patrick has someone skewered against a wall with a sword/arm while he's talking on the phone?
In my mind, I am seeing this. Though, sadly, that doesn't mean it's accurate.
Yes, the
phone rant was awesome
.
ETA: Thanks, tiggy.
TW 2.2. : yes!!! on the new
Ianto. The show needs some serious snark.
I enjoyed this episode
much more than last week's. The team seemed to pull together, and they were actually reasonably competent, which made a nice change. The excellent guest star (Nikka Amuka-Bird) also helped.
Oh, and I retract everything
I said about Owen being exclusively hetero. "Let's all have sex!" indeed.
Jen, yep. you are remembering correctly! though i think it reminded me more of Adam.
Two brand new episodes of Chuck tonight? WTF?
Yes!
And also - WTF - why is NBC determined to burn them off? (Answer: probably the reality crap they put up instead of Chuck is getting them better ratings. Soon, they will only have reality tv and L&O and er.)
Not only that, but with an hour gap between them for some "reality" atrocity. If I'm home and watching (as opposed to just DVRing), that's when I'll be catching up on last night's TDS/TCR.
BSG appears to be doing the Clip show thing too (from the Futon Critic):
Sci Fi has ordered a pair of "Battlestar Galactica" specials as a build up to the show's return in April.
The half-hour efforts, dubbed "Battlestar Galactica: Revisited" and "Battlestar Galactica: The Phenomenon," will air back-to-back on Friday, March 28 starting at 10:00/9:00c.
Oh and look at the the films we have to look forward to in March:
And finally, look for the usual round-up of original movies - including "Ogre" (Saturday, March 8), "The Hybrid" (Sunday, March 16) and "Rock Monster" (Saturday, March 22) - all at 9:00/8:00c.
"Rock Monster" should have a theme sung to the tune of "Rock Lobster." And "The Hybrid" took me to a BSG movie place.
