Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
On the first door it also looked there was a V or an N in the middle of the "window", on the second "DAN" and on the third "IDAN" or something. Was this random stuff within the ep, or will we be seeing more highschool drama/mystery surrounding this? If not, then wtf? If so, really?
About the only thing I found interesting was Not!Cameron's bitchy "I have a plate in my head!". Can't wait to see if and how these instances of seemingly real emotion develops.

Yeah, for a second I thought John and Cameron were going to team up and fight crime. In high school. Or, you know, fight for justice and what-not.
Also, I'm gonna have to buy the T-2 DVD....
Yes. That was the guy. Thanks.
i'm almost positive he's the one that tells Dyson he needs to "sign for the...thing". anyone know what i'm talking about?
yeah. The thing was the bit of arm that got trapped outside of the crusher, I think.
yep, that's what i'm talking about Vortex. i found the scene on youtube, but it's dubbed in a language i don't understand.
Ah, I thought I didn't get what was up with suicide chick because I was distracted.
Another thing that was less than sense making. Skin scientist dude. I thought he was dead and blood splattered walls and eyes missing, then he was examining bathtub boy. Was something out of order, or was it someone else all bloodied?
Cameron needs some social skills lessons quick. It seems likely that Sarah would notice that she stands out and school her.
I think they did a cheap flashback at the end there with the scientist and us knowing what happens to him after the credits roll.
Also, bitchy detective woman needs to go.
I kind of liked bitchy woman detective. Because she was bitchy. And because so far we've not seen hardly any white males on this show, at least not in positions of authority. It's kind of interesting.
Did anyone see any Asian kids in the school scenes? I mostly saw white and black kids.
I'm really getting jazzed by this show; I didn't even mind the voiceovers as much, although the opening dream sequence was definitely overkill and unnecessary.

A TWoPer posited she was sleeping with the guIDANce counselor. Sounds about right.

A TWoPer posited that if there's someone at the school who likes dramatically outing people's secrets, John and Cameron could have a problem.
I'm glad I have TWoP to explain things for me.

I was confused about the same thing for a bit. Then when he cut open the terminator's eyelids and we saw the red glowie terminator eyes, I realized that the terminator needed one (or two) things more to look human, so yeah, flashback to explain why dead scientist got his eyes taken.
Also, I liked the voice-over at that point: "We're all sons of bitches now." Scientist let his ego get in the way of... not selling out the human race.
Oh, does that terminator have a name?

Oh - good point.

Yep. 'Cept maybe to set up the "We're all sons of bitches now" thing?
