My criticism of the Spikelikeness of JM's character was mostly about the writing, and not so much in the way it was played. There's referencing, and there's overdoing it. But I seem to be in the minority, which is fair enough.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

No touchy MY IANTO.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I was thinking about the episode all night, and thought, I should come in this morning and expand on my first comments. Forgetting that my first comments were just, "Ianto."

But now that I'm here, that's still pretty much all I'm thinking.

Also, Cap'n John is made of hot. I'm sure I'll have more later, when the guh wears off.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Julie, it's a Buffista-ism, from a year or two ago. Stepping in the social guacamole and getting it all over yourself and others. Or, if you will, fucking up and offending people. Usually in reference to new people who do not know the ways of the board.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Ah, and now your previous post makes total sense! No guac here. Only jalapenos on sticks.

OK, the password thing was awesome. John=adorable.

Er, except when he's being all, you know... about Teyla and the pregnancy and all.

But the password bit was adorable.

ETA: OK, much of this ep has me rolling my eyeballs. But. I'm actually finding the Ronon/Dr. Whoever scenes kind of engaging. The actors are really selling it. See, but I'd be happier if they had stopped it before they were heading into smoochies. The head on the shoulder thing was cute - they should have stopped it there.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yes, cute with the password, but then he justmisses quoting HGTTG right.

The show really felt rather domestic, with the baby, and the engagement thing.

I really liked Ronon and Jaws. And Ronon and Keller (although also adds to the domesticity)

Nice ensemble ep, though, even if the suspense, well, wasn't.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm sure they blew the special effects budget and had to do a "ship in a bottle" episode.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm house/pet sitting for a friend with an HD tv and there is an HD sciffy but the only show in HD on sciffy last night was Flash Gordon.

Seriously.

Also, I saw a BSG promo that was new and still says that BSG is back in March. (It was Baltar centric. I saw it during Flash - I tried watching the late SGAs but I'm ill and I fell asleep and missed most of them - did you guys see any other new ones?)

And - Sciffy is showing Haunted at 6 Central on Fridays. Who knew?

So apparently Gareth David-Lloyd did a gig with James Marsters.
