I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I thoroughly enjoyed the DW Christmas special. The primary thing I learned from it was, once again, never ever *ever* trust a mannequin or statue, especially when (a) it can move on its own, and (b) it's a freaking ANGEL, people, did we learn NOTHING from Blink?? I liked Kylie's character, as I always like characters in DW who are willing to risk everything to see a little bit more of the universe, and the scene in which she turns into stardust did have me blinking back a couple of tears. I could have done without the kissing, but, eh. And the "London is deserted at Christmastime" thing was pretty funny. The primary plot was way over the top, and altogether the whole thing was a bit cheesier than I prefer, but it was still lots of fun.

I'm very much with Fiona and Tom on HATING the reworked theme music, though. Why was that necessary?? Ugh.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I'm re-watching Miller's Crossing right now. I think I like it better the second time. Also, surely there is a metric assload (which, ftr, is 2.78x the Imperial assload) of post-ep fic, right?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I was at the Y, in the Hamster Room, and WMC was on, and I said to myself, "John? But...he's got his own show...no, that's definitely him." And I did a little "whoot" when his name appeared on Guest Star list, and then Patrick Bauchau's name showed up, and it was kinda like Canadian Actor Bingo.

Sam, you tell him! Of course, he was totally right. But still, not nice!

Since when does Sam go on a, you know, ship destroying mission wearing a pleather jacket? I am so confused.

Where'd the beam weapon tech come from again?

Rodney + long-suffering Wraith= comedy... silver, at least.

Art Crawl!!!

Christmas Who: Totally a homage to '70s disaster flicks, right? Very enjoyable. Can't wait to see it on tv instead of on youtube. And I totally agree that nobody should ever have trusted the FREAKING Angels !!!

Ronon could not have been any more awesome in that scene.
