And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This was kind of funny tonight.

So my friend Phil showed up on our doorstep tonight. He was in SF shooting his show and had a couple hours before he went to bed and flew into Las Vegas for some big poker tournament.

We're chatting in the living room and Matilda is asleep on the couch so he scoops her up and she's sleeping on his chest and it's cute.

On TV we're watching HBO and Infamous starts to come up. We're watching the credits and go, "Hey! Lee Pace! He's in this cool show called Pushing Daisies."

And Phil says, "Pushing Daisies! I like that show. Jennifer is really close friends with the guy who does that show."

Me: "Bryan Fuller."

Phil: "Yeah, Bryan Fuller. Oh this is cool, she might get to do a cameo on the show."

We instructed him to let Bryan know that he has fans in San Francisco the next time he sees him. I restrained myself from asking for a smooshed face lion.

Okay, it would be very cool to see Jennifer on PD.

She really would be perfect for it. She's just got a certain innate cartooniness. (Literally when you consider her voiceover work.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, I'm glad for Life, but will really miss Journeyman.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, darn -- I have too many friends who really love Journeyman, and I've meant to try catching it during the writer's strike.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Remind me who Jennifer is?

does indeed say that Lt. William Adama's call sign is "Husker" - I can't believe I didn't notice it before. Starbuck's has the call sign, "Raygun" on it.

So the BSG people are fans of Midwestern punk rock?

Our wings are not tired.

Well, I didn't get to see Journeyman. This is a reason to wait a bit before watching new shows.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes - clearly the music playing at the end of Crossroads Part 2 should have been from Zen Arcade.
