Art Crawl!!!

That was totally Inara.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I love that. Not so much the pointless bazoom-showing tight-pants outfit, but Inara. Seriously, as a child she wore (and was surrounded by) near-Amish outfits, but as an adult it's time for Whitney Houston's "Bodyguard" Queen of the Night outfit?

And I remember wishing in Tin Man that the father had been some actor I'd seen before. It just would have made it easier for me somehow.

Ooh. Sweet post number.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Tell me it's a Welsh thing. Please?

It's a RTD thing.

Emily - I wish the father had been somebody I'd recognized too. DG and Azkedelia's parents were bland and boring. That can't have been the intent, right?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The big question is why, with all the magic and everything, they couldn't undo what had been done to their daughter by themselves, but had to hide out for 14 years until DG came along.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That whole plot was a little odd. They knew something was wrong with Az when she killed DG, and their plan was to:

1) Send DG away.
2) Send the father away to wait for DG to someday reappear.
3) Have the mother remain in power and wait for Az to stage a coup?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The whole plot WAS a little odd. I mainlined the whole thing yesterday and that was not a good idea. All the plot points seemed so less understandable when you see it as a 5-6 hour block.

I also was pissed at the end. Did the scarecrow get his brain back? I was really irritated that we didn't get to know. It makes me anxious.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

finally finished Tin Man and wished I hadn't. CKR was completely wasted (and while I hated how quickly and pathetically Zero broke, Callum totally sold it), as were NMcD and AC.

Although I did appreciate the fact that Cane and Glitch totally wanted to make out.

When it ended, my first thought was "Where's the yellow crayon?" and my second was "That's it? Seriously?"
