Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Alan Cumming was the only reason I kept watching.

Yeah. And it was almost embarrassing to watch him be wasted.

Actually, yeah. That's sad. Usually there's a couple of minor characters that I'm interested in, even if the main story's lame, like the downstairs neighbors in "Sweet November." But in this, there's ONLY Alan Cumming. CKR doesn't have enough to do to be worth watching, although he seems to be doing his best to have appropriate reactions.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I like Neil McDonough, though I'm only about halfway through the second installment. But it seems clear that the actors in this were not well served by the script.

Farscape dvd question: is season 1 completely unavailable? (I have it but a friend is looking for it and individual Starbust collections are priced at $100+.)

it does seem hard to find, sumi, but amazon has the different volumes broken down like here. i don't know why the starburst versions have gotten so expensive. the whole reason they were produced was because the other versions were so outrageously priced.

Wow, I watch a decent amount of TV and I only watch 3 shows on that list.

Art Crawl!!!

Farscape dvds: Man, if you add up the cheapest price for each of the 11 volumes of season 1 - without shipping and handling it comes out to over $133.00 for the whole season.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

For anyone who can enjoy a telenovela, I saw the first episode of a new one last night - Pasión. It's a historical, which means there will be pirates turning up later on.
