Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Plus, Dean being a smartass, and playing with knives
Which really is in no way exactly bad.

Comcast died for the first ten minutes. Woe. Lee was nice enough to recap for me. I now need to go beat the tar out of Comcast.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Also, love how Dean feels like he earned the cigarettes, just as he did the pool hustling money in earlier eps, and just about everything about Dean fitting in in prison.

Oh, Dean.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Deacon was played by Garwin Sanford.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

He looks to be a sci-fi television staple.

By which I mean he's Canadian.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

What is it with Sam Carter's former objects of affection showing up on SPN? Janet in Heart, now Narim.

Can we get in a request for YED in the form of RDA?

Evil RDA. Guh.

Deacon wasn't listed as part of the cast for Folsom Prison Blues, and I couldn't remember the actor's character name on SG:1, or which episode of Highlander he'd played a psycho Immortal monk, but I remembered it was the season that MacLeod was involved with the doctor lady, so I cross-referenced cast lists for that season with actors who'd appeared in SG:1, and recognized the character name, Narim. And Bob's your uncle.

Of six degrees interest, one of the three episodes of SG:1 Sanford appeared in as Narim, another cast member was Kevin Durand as a Go'a'uld prosecutor. Durand played Joshua to JA's Alec on S2 Dark Angel.

Okay, I'll stop now.

I think Sanford was also in an ep of DA.

He was the Head Priest in Exposure, ep 2.16. He was also in Tru Calling, and was Weir's left-behind SO in SG:A.

Vancouver's gotta get themselves some new actors!
