OK, that was pretty awesome.

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
(Children in Need is a BBC Telethon Fundraiser thing raising money for children's charities, which always includes specially-written little scenes and Easter Egg type things from Auntie Beeb's most popular shows. In the past I'm sure we've had Blackadder and Eastenders and so forth - whatever's particularly popular, really. And also all manner of random things - I seem to recall Billy Connolly running naked around the Statue of Eros one year too, after enough people had pledged money towards daring him to do it...it's several hours of programming geared specifically towards raising money for children's charities. We also have Comic Relief [aka 'Red Nose Day'], which is much the same concept, only more specifically comedy based, and the money they raise goes towards a broader range of charities both at home and abroad.)

Now to wait 20 minutes for Andi to get home.
Hey, Fay, do you know whether Skins has any between-series specials I need to keep an eye out for?
Well, they're clearly going to let Teyla show her pregnancy now.
Because the Children in Need is still awaiting arrival from the "usual places"...
Moonlight, my guilty pleasure that's so guilty I change the channel whenever anybody else is in the room, was kinda sweet tonight and just reaffirms my belief that Alex O'Lachlin is way too good for this show and it really really shows. I saw him in The Invisible and Oyster Farmer and while neither were stellar movies, his range is so much greater than what he has to work with in ML. And even now the title sequence makes me think of Sesame Street (although the music is pretty).
eta "Laughlan/Loughlin/Lachlan" it's all pronounced the same way...
And in the States, we just get crappy telethons.
Life is so not fair.

really? i think i say the last one wrong then. Alex is O'Loughlin is nice, isn't he? i thought Jason Dohring would be the only reason for me to watch this show, but most of the time i find it hard to watch him. AOL has totally captivated me as Mick though.

Even if the person owning the name pronounces it phonetically, I believe it's pronounced "Lofflin", even with the "ch". But that's my poor understanding of Old English/Gaelic/whatnot.
But I could be way wrong,
AOL has totally captivated me as Mick though.
So much this. And despite the unfortunate character name, too.
