Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

I heard, "Where's McKay?" though I was confused by the urgency. I mean, slashy goodness, of course, but in the framework of the show, I couldn't figure out why he'd be worried particularly about Rodney - but, OK, if Teyla and Ronon were there, then... "Where's McKay?" makes more sense. I was kind of half watching.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Andi and I just watched. It was "Where's McKay?" after they mentioned 'Many more people would have died."

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Nothing on Torchwood, yet? I caught up on the last two episodes. TKKS was wicked dark. Glad they added that little bit between Jack and Ianto at the end to lighten things up a little.

Random Shoes gave me allergies, which I wasn't expecting. I'm not sure exactly what happened there (or if the teacher who gave Eugene the eye knew something), but it was affecting nonetheless. Was Gwen hearing him all through the show, or just at certain intense moments?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

nods

I liked TKKs and Random Shoes really quite a lot.

I think she was sensing him more and more as time progressed, culminating in seeing him at the end.

I liked RS a lot too, but then I also loved "Love & Monsters" and "Blink", the equivalent Doctor-lite episodes.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I always forget that I like "Random Shoes" as much as I do, because the general awesomeness of "Blink" notwithstanding, I'm not a huge fan of bystander eps. This one is less bystandery than some, though, and it's really very sweet.

I love the use of music at the end, too. What a haunting song.
