Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It was Pinky, who died in the bar.

Oh, I thought Pinky had just confessed to the mother about the four of them keeping the secret, not that he'd done it.

No, the first guy who died was the one who confessed, because he'd sobered up and was making amends.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

he'd sobered up and was making amends.

Oh DUH. I only just now put those two together.

I thought that Pinky said that he was the one who fixed the race, i.e. cut the strap

Pinky was the bartender - he can't have been the one who confessed because he was the second victim. I can't remember the name of the first guy.

I can't remember the name of the first guy.

Shoemaker. Which was obviously a nod to Willie Shoemaker.

So:

1) Shoemaker -- got on the wagon, confessed to the guy's mother, first guy dead

2) Pinky -- bartender, cut the girth on the saddle, second guy dead

3) Drunk Guy whose name I don't remember, but it doesn't matter because he didn't die.

Abbot and Costello: not appearing in this episode.
