A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

If I had to choose one, it would be the newsletter, which is awesome and I love it, and yes. Newsletter.
I watch Gen, Crack Impala (which, actually, I might divorce, as most of what I like that's recced there, I've already read off the flist), and Winsisterfic.
Because, err, I have a serious thing for the boys as girls.
Plei, linky on the Winsisterfic?
Have you read Codex Alera, Kalshane? I've got them too.
Not yet. They (and Butcher's Spider-man novel) are on my "One of these days" list.
Oh, I love them both. But the things that change their perspectives--the age at which they killed Justin, being in foster care versus being an adult, etc, changes the characters for me to a degree that allows for easy separatation.
That's very true. They've had very different experiences, and so far we haven't had any evidence that TV!Harry ever had Elayne or someone like her.
I love watching Blackthorne, though. I think he gets that Dresden sense of humour mixed with the weight of the world perfectly.
Definitely. I just wish there were more opportunities for him to embrace Harry's smart-ass side in the show. But as Jim Butcher has said repeatedly, it's very obvious that PB truly gets Harry.

Plei is right. If you must choose one community, take the newsletter: if you're not writing fic (and needing to post anouncements), it's the only community you need.

Yes, that! I was wondering about that. I'm really curious to see how many of Harry's family-friends show up on the show if (and when, knock on wood!) they get a second seasons. It made sense for plot development in the first season to have it be kind of Harry (and Bob!) against the world, and Murphy be the reflection of his struggles with the normal world.
But in a second season, it would make sense to bring in folks like Thomas and Michael and Elayne, or one or two of the secondary characters, to flesh out Harry and Harry's past. And Mister and Mouse! I would love to see Mister and Mouse.
As much as I like the show I hope they don't go much deeper into the mythology behind the magical world much more than they have. I love that mythology, but I don't think they format they're working in--scfi MOTW with added continuity--really lends itself to the grand political details Butcher describes so well in his book.
And gosh I really love Blackthorne. So much!
SPN: The supernatural newsletter, much like its other fandom counterparts, is a mighty and awesome resource. I'd read it if I wasn't skirting fandom at the moment. I already got spoiled for the Bones finale from a damnable flickr set, and I have no intention of being spoiled for Supernatural.
thanks gals! going to add the newsletter now!
MR says that Lex is just misunderstood.
Thanks, plei!
Oh, sumi, that MR clip is tres drole.
