Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Reaper: The Devil's insistence that Andie not be involved reinforces a theory I have... in I think the second episode, where Sam ends up working in the garden section and Andie's there? They came back to The Devil for the end scene, and he stuck a flower in his lapel. The same type of flower that Andie was just working with/standing in front of. I think she's involved somehow more than just "love interest".
Pushing Daisies: I continue to love you like pie. I'm so glad you got a full season!
Moonlight: So... no one else is watching this, then? I knew it was my guilty pleasure, but I didn't think it was *this* guilty. I'm totally aware that I'm cutting the show a lot of slack because 1) I'm carrying over love for Angel (I mean, c'mon, he's even got the convertible!), 2) I dig the idea that he's a young vamp, not 'ageless, wise, and blahblahblah,' and 3) Alex O'Laughlin is intensely hot.
That's... all I have to babble about right now.
Aillean, you are clearly missing my posts.
If I didn't have school on Wednesday nights, I'd definitely be having Pie-and-Pushing Daisies viewings. Also, what Somerville/Davis Square definitely needs is a pie shop.

Until then, pecan pie from Redbones!

I hope you're right, Ailleann. I've also been very annoyed by the forced "keep the love interest in the dark to create tension" trope. I'm getting equally annoyed by the same thing on "Chuck" with the sister.

Kick-Ass Pies? How about cupcakes? [link]

I... skim? Or, you know, I suck. Will have to go back and look!
I just found out Todd McIntosh is doing the makeup for Pushing Daisies!
Moonlight is a mildly guilty pleasure for me. Not appointment TV for me, but if I'm using my excercise machine when it is on, it is usually the best choice available, and it is entertaining enough to get me though 45 minutes on ellipitcal trainer.
Cupcakes, while wonderful, are no pies.
