A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I teach at least one level 1 class a week. Which means I get to teach complete newbies once a week how to throw a punch. How long was she on the air and didn't manage to look convincing with those wrists once?
Hell, I taught Allyson how to throw a proper punch in as long a time as it took James Marsters to come out from the green room and thrill the squeeing fangirls in the parking lot.
I'm willing to hand-wave the accent, as maybe it sounds like that in the PD world or something.
I keep thinking Couer d' Couers has to be in Canada, fwiw.
Nope. If the town was in Canada, it'd be spelled properly, i.e. Coeur du Coeur.
Thank you, Typo Boy, that was beautiful!
The "Southern" accent is a whole separate rant, unless I've stopped watching the show before I get to it.
amych. I agree. his was a southerun accent. which is entirely different. kind of like the floppy punch in slo-mo. painful, but in a protracted, ambiguously harmful yet playful way. Unless, of course, you know your stuff. or, (possibly, although it's still slightly funny in a cast-off way) have relatives that weren't allowed to go to school north of the Mason-Dixon line. {points at Sparky and stage-whispers: it's her AUNT - truly!}
Huh. Amy Acker is on Law and Order: Criminal Intent tonight. Not a place I ever expected to see Fred.
Is it wierder than Spike on Without a Trace?
Oh, I canNOT get used to him without the accent (even though I know that's his normal voice). That throws me even more than the lack of the bleached-out hair.
I keep waiting to hear him say "I'm a friend of Zanderrr's"
I hardly recognized Marsters at first. He's still looking good, though. The big surprise is that he's part of Viv's plotline.
