A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
HOWEVER, your namesake also got to get it on with Ianto, once upon a time.
I think he is very pretty and has a lovely voice but I don't actually dig him that much. Plus, if I was into him, having a name-copier be the one to get it on with him instead of me would just be a kick in the face.
Also, in the Cyberwoman episode, didn't they let in that poor pizza delivery girl into their inner sanctum, casual as they please? Or am I misremembering again?
And didn't they identify themselves as Torchwood to the pizza place? I think Dana's explanation makes the most sense, though I don't know what the general public knows of their existence.
Oh, another Journeyman question: Livermore - what is the significance?
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory [link] It's probably the closest thing we have to Eureka.
Thanks - I figured it was something like that.
I think Dana's right, they aren't secret in the sense that no one knows of them at all, but no one knows what they do. So the police assume it's some kind of special ops team.
Doctor Who season 3 soundtrack - coming out in November.
Do the other seasons have a soundtrack?
So, then why does their SUV have "Torchwood" etched on its side?
I was wondering that as well, then I handwaved that after the first alien invasion, there was no reason to keep them a secret anymore. The Minister of Defense was surprised when Harriet Jones talked about it, but I think that, timewise, we're further on.
I liken it to the NSA. For years, their very existence was classified. then, when the existence was declassified, no one knew exactly what they did. Still don't, in any real sense.
Maybe Jack got a deal on the etching.
PS, if anybody can find me a clear "magnetic" sticker that I could put on the front side of my car, I'd love one.
Sumi, yes. Well, there's a 1&2 soundtrack. You can get it through iTunes. Probably in hard copy, too.
