Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Art Crawl!!!

Creeepeee - it's been a good week for creepy tv.

Another Razor promo - there's a glimpse of Bacic in it too.

You know, I feel like a dork. Apparently, EJO has been wearing blue contacts on BSG this entire time and I NEVER noticed it. Therefore young Adama has blue eyes too.

Hee. Thank you sumi.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, however, I have a bad feeling that he's playing the XO of the Pegasus.

(You may also see if Sciffy is going to rerun any of Andromeda - he was in quite a few of those.)

I feel like I'm back in high school with a new crush. I just looked up Andromeda and it seems there are 45 episodes with him. And in Razor he will be Colonel Jurgen Belzen. Jurgen Belzen? Isn't that the opening lyrics of "Rock of Ages"? Jurgen Belzen glauchen globen.

Okay, I refuse to be boy crazy anymore tonight. Off to watch Smallville.

I tried watching "The Wraiths of Roanoke" but was so painfully bored.

Thrive to spite them

This Torchwood episode is a lot like the Supernatural episode, I've seen this episode before, so I kept getting confused and waiting for a certain character to show up , only to realise I was thinking of SPN.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Very creepy Torchwood. I can only guess that for those who said this episode was the breaking point for them (as in not wanting to watch the show) it must have been the Gwen/Owen finish. What surprised me most was that Jack left all the townspeople alive when he shot them up. When the shooting started, I expected a roomfull of dead cannibals.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I liked Countrycide, although I agree that it was hard not to compare it to the SPN episode, a little.

I did boggle at the confidence Jack seemed to have in the competence of Toshiko and Ianto being able to handle themselves against Unknown Monsters, because frankly both of them strike me as less than wonderful combatants.

And the Gwen/Owen finale - well, yes, it does make me wince, because I like her boyfriend so. But I don't think it's implausible, so I'm good with that - in fact I do continue to like the fact that all the characters are so flawed and prone to fuckuppery, rather than Making The Right Choice and Doing The Right Thing.

Art Crawl!!!

I know - I really liked Gwen with Rhys - but she seemed so ill prepared to be in a position with that level of secretness. Probably because she had zero training in that sort of thing - that it really compromised the relationship with Rhys.

I don't rewatch the Bender either.

Not having seen Torchwood, but having seen Jack on Dr. Who - could this be "learn by doing"?
