I really hate learning the meta behind crappy narrative decisions (tell me more!). It just really takes away my hope for any sort of enjoyment out of a show.

Dr. Beckett bought it in a stupidly "noble" act of saving someone and died whilst power-walking through bad CGI fire caused by an exploding tumor. "Exploding Tumor" ranks almost up there with "Butt Genie" for the phrases I never want to hear.
