Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Chuck's Jewish. I seem to have heard from somewhere that it's against Jewish faith or custom to have the corpse embalmed.

Of course, that doesn't explain the lack of autopsy scar. As for the bloating, the narration states specifically that Chuck was found "minutes" after she fell into the sea, so she didn't have the chance to bloat.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Only "minutes"? Are you sure it wasn't something like "3 minutes, 41 seconds, 5 milliseconds"?

P.S. You must read my latest LJ post!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I didn't mind the time narration. I thought it was cute.

The narrator in general reminded me of "Stranger Than Fiction," which could be interesting, I suppose, if the narrator does eventually become a character.

Holy crap! She's playing Elizabeth Bathory in a movie coming out next year. Talk about a range of roles. Don't really recognize anything else she's done except Rogue Trader.

Thank doG for the ratings (and the not!Fox aspect of ABC). Maybe we'll get at least a full season even if there's drop-off next week.

Anna Friel was also one half of the first lesbian kiss on British primetime tv, in Brookside.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The show easily won its timeslot with a 9.2/14 rating/share in the metered markets, which is huge.

Good Lord! That's like twice the size of the audience I expected.

What I want to know is how in hell did he keep from touching his dog between the time he brought him back and re-deading his mom? Even if the dog was well trained enough then to obey staying away, why would Ned avoid touching him?

Shame they didn't make the flashback to one year later, as Ned would have just seen Pet Semetary the following year, giving a very good rationale for being cautiously standoffish towards Resurrected!Digby.

I think stuff like Digby, and Chuck's lack of autopsy, I'm just going to have to think of in fairy tale terms and let it be. It's not like some of the science stuff on Eureka which, given the premise of the show if not the tone, is harder to ignore.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Maybe Ned was just avoiding touching Digby because resurrected dead dog just gave him the willies in general. Or perhaps it turns out that Digby had intimacy problems from when he was a mere pup....
