I really loved Pushing Daisies, I liked the voice over (for the most part) and that everything looked kinda whimsical and quirky and like a fantasitcal world, rather than looking super realistic except for Ned's abilities.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

What I want to know is how in hell did he keep from touching his dog between the time he brought him back and re-deading his mom? Even if the dog was well trained enough then to obey staying away, why would Ned avoid touching him?
Minor nitpick, of course, and worth it to get the doggie scratcher.
For a show that's not American Idol, 9.4 is very good. (AI regularly pulls in 15-20 million viewers, but it's an anomaly.)

It's really hard to pet a dog and wave your hands at the same time...]
Ha! I knew BW would be down this week -- too many people were disappointed.
Yeah, I had to handwave like mad when it came to Digby. Also, dogs pounce on their owners in affection all the time. I don't know how Ned kept Digby away for 19 years!
So, I suppose this means that Digby is immortal. (That dog looked damn spry for a 22 year-old.) The narration did say he was 3 years and some change, and not a minute older. By the same token, Chuck will probably never age -- an additional complication in her relationship with Ned, as if there weren't enough obstacles already!

Ha! Good one.

Yeah, I didn't pick up on that the first time, and then I was confused by Chuck's line since she never knew he had died in the first place, and then I started to wonder whether dogs generally lived nineteen years, at which point the only possible conclusion is that he doesn't age since he already died.

Oh, the angst!

I know. One errant lap of the face and Digby's Dedby.
Not only could I not believe that Digby hadn't bounded up and slimed his boy, I also don't get how Ned (as a boy) didn't pet Digby IMMEDIATELY afterwards.
Ha. Maybe Ned's more like a Jamaican. We can go for days without touching our pets...
What was the time gap between the dog and the mom, and were we shown who stayed...right! It was the squirrel that bought it to keep Digby alive, huh? Glad to see it didn't take out a human, but I'd have been very paranoid as Ned about it.
